About Michael
Dr. Michael Walls, M.D. has been a member of the Commonwealth Pain & Spine team since 2016, with a dedication to providing advanced and compassionate pain treatments. With a robust educational background and extensive training, Dr. Walls brings a wealth of expertise to his practice, ensuring the highest standard of care for his patients.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Dr. Walls earned his Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, laying a solid foundation for his future in medicine. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he demonstrated a commitment to academic achievement and medical proficiency.
Dr. Walls furthered his training with an internal medicine internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Continuing his residency and fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, he specialized in anesthesiology and pain medicine, distinguishing himself as Chief Pain Fellow.
A member of numerous professional societies, including the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Pain Society, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Dr. Walls remains at the forefront of advancements in pain management.
