About Katherine

Dr. Katherine Williams, D.O., embodies excellence and compassion as a dedicated member of the Commonwealth Pain & Spine team since 2021. Grounded in a diverse educational background, Dr. Williams brings a unique perspective to her practice, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients.

Beginning her academic pursuits at the University of Colorado, Dr. Williams earned her Bachelor of Environmental, Population, and Organismic Biology, laying the groundwork for her future in healthcare. She furthered her education with a Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration from George Washington University.

Graduating magna cum laude from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, Dr. Williams distinguished herself early in her medical career. Her dedication to excellence propelled her to complete her anesthesia residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she honed her skills in providing exceptional patient care.

Deepening her specialization, Dr. Williams pursued a pain medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, solidifying her expertise in addressing complex pain conditions with precision and empathy. As a member of professional societies such as the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Dr. Williams remains at the forefront of advancements in pain management.

Dr. Williams' commitment to her patients is evident in her welcoming and supportive approach to care. She fosters an environment where patients feel heard and valued, encouraging open communication and collaboration in their journey toward relief and improved quality of life.
