About James
Dr. James Jackson, M.D. has been an esteemed physician at Commonwealth Pain & Spine since 2014, where his dedication to patient care has left an indelible mark. His path in medicine began at Centre College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science.
Continuing his academic pursuit, Dr. Jackson obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville, where he demonstrated a passion for excellence and a commitment to serving his community. Following his medical degree, he embarked on an internship with the University of Louisville's Department of Internal Medicine, gaining invaluable experience in comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Jackson's dedication to anesthesia and pain management led him to complete his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Louisville, where he honed his skills and expertise in providing exceptional care. Building upon this foundation, he pursued further specialization through a fellowship in pain medicine, also at the University of Louisville.
He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Kentucky Society of Anesthesiology, and the Kentucky Medical Association.
