Dr. Reynolds was very kind and knowledgeable. He was familiar with the Myasthenia Gravis that I have. It is a rare autoimmune condition. He agreed that surgery would not be wise because of the stress involved that could trigger a life-threatening crisis. He explained well where my pain was coming from and the epidural injection to help ease the pain. I feel that God has once more added another qualified doctor to my medical team. The girl who took my information was also very pleasant and helpful.

I got tied up at work and was late on arrival. They were kind enough to still see me. When talking with the doctor I felt confident that he had become familiar with my file before entering my exam room. He explained the process very well and I feel comfortable moving forward with the recommended course of treatment.

I've been a patient of Dr. Walls for several years and I can honestly say that he is one of if not the best Doctor I've ever been to. He listens to me and treats me with respect. Also, his skills are par none. Routinely, I have epidural injections for both neck and back. Never have I been hurt. In fact, he is so good, I never have to have sedation. He's the best!

Dr. Unick is a great listener. He makes me feel comfortable enough to express all my concerns and opinions about my treatment. He allows ample time for me to ask all my questions and never seems bothered by them. I highly recommend Dr. Unick.

My experience at IPS has been wonderful for several years. My treatment for pain in two separate areas with injections instead of my having to take pain medications, has allowed me to go on and live my life normally. The pain is sometimes totally gone for a period of time and then returns very slowly and I able to go about my usual daily activities. It has been a life changer for me and my family.

Everyone was kind and helpful. They continually asked how I was doing or if I had any questions. Office was clean and welcoming.

Greatest appointment in a long time

Dr Vessels was very thorough. He asked me a lot of questions about me and my health. He actually seemed like he cared about me and how I’m doing. Also, he was on time with my appointment. Several other times I’ve waited up to 30 minutes past my appointment time. I would definitely be him to others.

A great bunch of people who truly care

He was amazing with my epidural in my neck. Last time, I was at a different one of the office in another town , and I had alot of pressure in my chest felt like something very heavy was on my chest when they did the epidural. This little pressure on the left side of my neck ( not near as bad as the last time). Well definitely recommend him to other people.

The Dr was very kind and interested in the problems I have had since a fall I had about a month ago. At home on the front porch. He asked me to have XRays at TJ. I went over right after my appointment with him early this morning. Now I have an appointment to see him on 4/18 at 10:00 am to follow up. .

From my first visit I felt as if Dr.Winters and his amazing team from signing in to signing out were all extremely respectful and seemed to really care about you. It’s never been made to feel as some places I’ve been as a transaction, you come monthly for your visits and they send another prescription over and never really ask or care about the real issue. Dr Winters office wants to get to the core issue and try and get you relief there while also maintaining any residual issues..This office was truly a god sent for me.

Actually seemed to care. Didn’t make me feel like I was at a methadone clinic (I normally feel like I’m at one). I actually WORK for a living with chronic pane from being hit by a drunk driver. The pain clinic is the only option for me to keep working as the Feds have made it impossible for real patients to keep working.

There is no longer iv sedation for rfa procedures. If you’ve ever had this procedure you know that the 90 seconds in each side of your back is extremely painful! They offer you a Valium to take before the procedure , which does nothing! It’s ridiculous that insurance will no longer cover sedation and instead makes patients that get this done experience the very painful burning of nerves in your back!

With my past surgeries and the hardware & spurring inside my back, it made the procedure more difficult. Dr Milburn and his team are all wonderful and I would recommend them to everyone. Everyone in the office there does a great job. I was nervous but with the professionalism and support a difficult procedure went as well as I believe it ever could have.

Dr. Unick has done this procedure for me several times. He is always friendly and puts my mind at ease. During the procedure, he tells me exactly what he is doing and I am prepared.

I would definitely recommend him ro anyone. I had prayed to find a caring helpful doctor. I feel blessed to have found him. The nurse was excellent as well, and all the staff were helpful.

My experience with is pain clinic is absolutely the very best. The staff is all the kindest, nicest, people who know their jobs as well as any in the healthcare business. ( I am a medical professional) i am older and retired, if I did not go there for treatment, I would not be able to have an active life with my family. Dr Miller is SO skilled and so knowledgeable about taking care of me. I hope to always be able to seek his treatment. Very professional and cheerful. I am now a believer in getting the sedation if there is anyway at all you can get a ride home. I have a guard response when the medicine goes in that causes me to "flinch" in a big way... You don't want that when the needle is that close to your spinal cord. Dr vessels is very good at what he does and explains everything in a way that anyone can understand and he talks you through everything without you having to ask which is perfect because I only ask questions when I'm really nervous about something.

Great experience!!! I had 3 hip injection for hip bursitis and back injection over the years. Always helpful and knowledgeable, helping with all my questions. Nurses and staff are great.

Doctor Walls and his staff are doing their best to treat the hundreds of patients that live in daily pain. If I could make one improvement, it would be to reinstate sedation for procedures such as upper back and neck regions. Without sedation it’s like having a hot curling iron laying on your skin. Doctor Walls is a very good doctor who does his best to care for each of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone who has chronic pain. He listens to his patients and does the best that he can to remedy their pain issues. If he could improve one thing in his care it would be to bring sedation back for treatments like ablations in the upper back and neck. Without sedation the ablation treatment is like holding a hot curling iron to your skin. That is my only improvement that I would suggest that he should remedy in his office. His staff is very helpful and caring, so I would highly recommend him for a pain specialist to my friends.

Dr Gardner is really nice. I think he does what he can. Pain Management is abused by so many, so I think the Dr’s do the best they can. I personally need more care, but I can’t get it. Dr Gardner is a Great Dr. A Dr that’s working under the restraints of odds not in his favor. He does his Very Best to make life a little bit easier to get through each day. I guess that’s all I can really ask of him.

I really love Dr. John Gardner because he took the time to explain everything at my visit with him today and took his time to listen to me and wasn't trying to rush off and he made sure to ask me if I had any other questions, he cares about his patients.

Best Dr. Ever! She listens to everything you have to say, all of your concerns and any/all isues you may or may not have. Shows concern in how you feel and is very knowledgeable and helpful when trying to find the best route for you to take inorder to make you feel better!

The call center staff have been extremely rude everytime I've called. Difficult to get to speak with anyone one in the actual doctors office. Wasn't happy with the way I was treated (as less than a person) because I asked questions. Didn't just conform to thier being heraded like cattle to receive a consult about a medical procedure. How dare I ask them a question! Much less ask to be treated like a person! Wouldn't use Commonwealth Pain Associates PLLC if my life depended on it!

I had my first test without anesthesia. Dr. Unick was very good at letting me know what to expect. Had very little pain during the procedure. Pain level was at an 8 going into the procedure and came out with a pain level of a 1 was very satisfied with the outcome. Pain level increased about 1 level every hour and was back to an level 8 within 7 hours. Thank you to Dr. Unick and staff.

Were very good in the preacheckin procedure to be sure I had done everything I should have to be ready to receive the procedure!!!!!!

Six injections in my back had me a little nervous but there was no reason to be. The nurse told me what she was doing while getting me ready ( since my face was down in this doughnut whole) until Dr. Unick came in and he began telling me step by step and everything went great. I’ve hit my thumb with a hammer and hurt worse than this has. It’s been 5 hours and still no pain, that’s what I’m talking about!

My back has made my life quite miserable. I even had a surgery that helped but after years it was hurting again. The Commonwealth Pain and Spine experience helped my pain more than anything I had ever done. The shots in my back lasts about three months and isn’t helping as much by the beginning of the third month. You have to go at least 3 months to get the next injection. It has been a miracle to go without pain for a while. The Dr., NP, and nurses are exceptional and treat their patients with compassion and kindness. This facility is TOP NOTCH when it comes to medical provider care and friendly caring staff. Everybody treats you and respects you as if you were family. Dr Mims and April McDonald NP are very kind and courteous and thorough with their patients or with me anyways. They definitely take their time to listen to you and your concerns and seem generally concerned about helping you. The staff up front and the staff in the back where they do the injections are very good as well and very respectful and courteous to the patients. I have been in excruciating pain in my neck & head for a few years & the pain seemed to getting progressively worse. Dr Reed, my family doctor, had me do an MRI, which revealed that I had numerous bone spurs in my neck. He gave me steroid shots and medication that was helpful for a short period of time. He advised me that with so many bone spurs in my neck, he did not think any specialist would consider doing surgery on me. He then referred me to Commonwealth Pain & Spine for Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA). I have never been to a pain center and all I thought of was being put on drugs & getting addicted. “Oh, no,” I thought. “I don't want anything to do with a pain center.” But Dr. Reed, the wise physician that he is, explained that that was not the case. I would be getting injections and not addictive drugs. I decided to give the pain center a try and I’m so glad I did. I finally found relief with RFA injections that I can have every six months with my insurance covering the cost. What a joy it has been to now be able go about my daily life without neck pain & headaches. Dr Mims & his staff are outstanding—knowledgeable, kind, caring & professional. I’m certainly glad Dr. Reed recognized my problem, sent me for appropriate tests & and referred me to the Pain & Spine Center when normal treatment wasn't working.
