Violet Shackleford, MD

Dr. Violet Shackleford is a distinguished physician who combines extensive academic training with a deep commitment to patient care. She graduated with honors from Lipscomb University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, before pursuing her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Shackleford then further honed her skills during an internship at the West Virginia University Department of General Surgery, followed by an anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at WVU.

Throughout her training, Dr. Shackleford's excellence was recognized with the WVU Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Award. She also demonstrated strong leadership abilities, serving as the Chief Resident for the WVU Department of Anesthesiology and as a Fellow Ambassador for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
