Timothy Mims, MD

Dr. Timothy Mims, M.D, is a highly-trained physician at Commonwealth Pain & Spine, known for his expertise and dedication to providing exceptional patient care. He has been with the practice since 2023. With a strong foundation in microbiology and immunology, Dr. Mims earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami before pursuing his Doctor of Medicine at Ross University School of Medicine.

Following his passion for anesthesia and pain management, Dr. Mims completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, where he garnered invaluable experience. He further specialized in pain management through fellowship training at the Tri-program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Cornell, and Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr. Mims is a proud member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, among others.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mims has held several academic appointments, including roles as an instructor, assistant professor, and assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Department of Anesthesiology.
