Michelle Blackburn, APRN

Michelle Blackburn is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University’s College of Nursing in Downers Grove, IL. Her prior employment includes working as an Inpatient Oncology Unit Staff RN and an Outpatient Oncology/Infectious Disease Staff RN at Pikeville Medical Center. Her experience includes the administration of chemotherapy, blood products, and medications per physician orders. It also includes patient education for antiretroviral medications and oral chemotherapy, patient assistance in obtaining both, and monitoring patients taking antiretroviral and oral chemotherapy through weekly telephone calls. Michelle is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her certifications include KY State License, ACLS, BLS and ONS/ONCC.
