About Jason
Dr. Jason Lewis, M.D. is one of the founding partners of Commonwealth Pain & Spine, with a legacy of excellence and compassion in patient care. Graduating with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville, he embarked on a journey marked by dedication and expertise.
Dr. Lewis undertook an internship within the surgery department at the University of Louisville, where he laid the foundation for his medical acumen. Continuing his training, Dr. Lewis completed a residency in the university’s anesthesiology department, refining his skills in pain management and anesthesia.
He then pursued a pain management fellowship at the University of Vermont, further enhancing his ability to address complex pain conditions with precision and empathy. With decades of experience under his belt, Dr. Lewis has garnered a reputation for his commitment to patient well-being.
A member of numerous professional societies, like the American Society of Anesthesia and the American Medical Association, Dr. Lewis is not only highly-trained but also deeply invested in advancing the field of pain management.
